Waterhead Barn and farm is a 6 bedroomed property that sleeps 16 based in East Portmantle, South Devon. It is overlooking the creek. Barn accommodation- There is a large sitting room that is fully furnished and has an open fire. It also has a dining area at the rear with dining table and chairs. There is a huge kitchen that is fully fitted including a range and walk in larder. There is another sitting room with cosy furniture, magnificent views and a sofa bed. It also has a study area that is furnished. The bedroom has a king sized bed with an ensuite with shower, hand basin and toilet. The main bathroom has a marble bath, toilet and hand basin. There are french doors off of the bedroom that lead onto a furnished patio area. There is a connecting corridor which lead to the farmhouse. Farmhouse accommodation- There is large lounge with inglenook fireplace and cosy furniture. There is small kitchen that is fully equipped. There is a furnished conservatory that leads out onto a decked area. Bedroom 1 has a king sized 4 poster bed and an ensuite with a slipper bath, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed and an ensuite with a shower with body jets, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and an ensuite with a shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 4 has a king sized bed and an ensuite with shower, toilet and hand basin. bedroom 5 has bunk beds. There is also a wet room with shower, toilet and hand basin and another shower room with shower, hand basin and toilet. Adjacent to the barn is a large laundry room with chest freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, double sinks, iron and ironing board. A games room/summerhouse in the gardens has a table tennis table and equipment, beach gear and wet suits.There is plenty of parking available. Paved terraces run around much of the living space and beyond lawns provide further vantage points with garden furniture provided and a play frame with children's swings, slide and see-saw. The property is divided by a pedestrian path leading to an neighbouring cottage beyond which is a wild flower meadow bisected by mown paths running down to a boat house (not for use) beside a slipway giving direct access to the foreshore. Use of two moorings for boats up to 18ft immediately adjoining the slipway. Tidal estuary outside with sandy beach 1 mile. Shop 2 miles. Pub 1 mile. Kingsbridge 7.5 miles. East Portlemouth with passenger ferry to Salcombe 1 mile (via tidal road).
